Sayville Middle School Community found a creative way to decorate their “Pallet Tree.” For their third annual "Tongue-Depressor Tree-Ornament Contest," the students and staff crafted unique and fanciful ornaments from tongue depressors and hung them on display. The contest was created and run by Jim McLoughlin, one of our technology teachers. The entrance fees this year helped the Middle School raise $175 that will be donated to Carroll's Kitchen. Carroll's Kitchen is a not-for-profit organization that provides meals for those in need in the area.
