Sixth-Graders Return to Five-Day In-Person Instruction

The Sayville Middle School community was elated to have the Sixth-graders return to five-day in-person instruction nearly a year after the pandemic closed schools. To celebrate this new phase, faculty and staff wore their Sayville S.T.R.I.D.E.S. t-shirts on which the statement “You Got This; We Got You” was plainly written. The staff lined the decorated hallways and welcomed the students back with applause. While all faces were appropriately covered by masks, all Middle School eyes were smiling.
