BOE Citations 11/23/2021

Sayville High School Principal Ron Hoffer and R.I.S.E. Tech Advisor Mr. Rich Caskey, along with Board of Education Trustee Carl Cangelosi (photo above) and Board of Education Vice President Thomas Cooley (photo below) recognized the following students for their Scientific Research work:  

1. Charles Breen and Michael Pitre (photo above), Karishma Patel, Annika Von Eschen (not present for BOE meeting) worked with Dr. John Rheinstein to develop prototypes of prosthetics;

2. Charles Breen and Michael Pitre (photo below), Meredith Albertelli, Skyler Collins, Ethan Entenberg, Brendan Meyers, Owen Hinteman, Frances Kloska, Kerry O’Donoghue, Karishma Patel, Isabelle Smith, and Annika Von Eschen (not present for BOE meeting) participated in the Northwell Heath Spark Challenge (photo below);

3. Sarah Hinteman and William Kretz (not present for BOE meeting) competed in the Long Island Science Congress and South Asian American Women’s Alliance.
