Congratulations to Sarah Newman! Fourth in NYS Championships --Steeplechase

“After helping Sayville Girls Spring Track Team to an undefeated League Championship season,” Coach Duffy reported, “Sarah Newman placed Fourth at the New York State Championship meet this weekend in the Steeplechase. Sarah earned All-State honors while breaking her own school record—she is currently ranked Eighth in the country! Sarah, along with Mullane Baumiller in the 3000 meter run, were also named All-County this season while Molly Clark was named to the All-County Academic Team. Great season girls!”
