Girls Swimming and Diving Team Members Going to States

Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving Team--League 3 Champions--for placing Fourth in the County at the Section XI Championships. Sayville-Bayport Blue Point Girls Swim Coach Nicole Mendez-Chicas  had kudos for her team: “Great job, Meghan Brady, Jordan Carpentieri, Taylor Carpentieri, Grace Cullen, Emma Haas, Haley Hendershot, Shannon Swezey, Lauren Woody, and  Liz Bossert who represented the team and swam amazing! Good luck to Jordan Carpentieri, Emma Haas and Jillian Rastello who will represent the team at the State Championships in Ithaca, NY in two weeks."

Coach Mendez-Chicas added a special congratulations to Jillian Rastello, “who placed First in the County at the Section XI Diving Championships last Thursday. In addition to being the Suffolk County Champion two years in a row, she also broke the school record for eleven dives this year. Great job, Jillian! Good luck at the NYS Championships in Ithaca, NY on November 19th and 20th!”
