High School Art Students Make Greeting Cards for Veterans

To commemorate Veterans Day, which marks its 102nd Anniversary this year, Sayville High School Art Department's Intro to Drawing and Painting classes created beautifully drawn cards in which thoughtful messages of thanks were written for our nation's Veterans.  These seventy-five cards were given to Cona Elder Law Group in Melville, who will distribute them at the Long Island State Veterans home in time for Veterans Day. “We have done several projects this year focusing on gratitude,” Art teacher Mrs. Jennifer Berotti said, “This was one that the students enjoyed.”
