Police Officer Glen K. Pettit Memorial scholarship recipient from the Class of 2022

Police Officer Glen K. Pettit, a local resident, had lost his life in the line of duty on September 11, 2001. In remembrance of his sacrifice, his family established an annual memorial scholarship totaling $1500.00 that is given each year to one deserving Sayville Senior. This student must exhibit qualities of character and service befitting the memory of this 9-11 hero. This year, the Police Officer Glen K. Pettit Memorial scholarship recipient from the Class of 2022 is Brendan Dargis. Congratulations, Brendan!
