Sayville Welcomes New Staff to 2021-2022 Academic Year

Traditions are a large part of Sayville School District’s culture. So it is no surprise that this year’s crop of new members were introduced to many of these tradition during scheduled workshops, orchestrated by Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum Dr. Christine Criscione. Over three days, new staff learned about the District’s policies and procedures, heard words of encouragement from Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Stimmel, and met department heads who would help them navigate the protocols. But it was not all work and no play.   After a delicious luncheon spread, the new staff enjoyed a bus tour (with some mask modifications)  through Sayville, thanks to the STA. This traditional bus tour was not available last year.
