Sunrise Drive Holiday Creations with A Turkey-Theme Challenge

For the Thanksgiving holiday, Sunrise Drive Physical Education teacher Amy Chaimowitz asked her students to create a "turkey" with fruits or vegetables as a healthy snacking alternative to the festive feast and encouraged them to send photos of their handiwork. 

“They came up with some fabulous ideas,” Mrs. Chaimowitz shared proudly. “I was hoping they would have fun working in the kitchen and then enjoy eating their creation. They emailed me the pictures and I posted them up on the bulletin board in the hallway for all to see. Look at these proud faces!”
