Sunrise Drives Bids Farewell to Beloved Mascot

After nineteen years of bringing sunshine to Sunrise Drive Elementary School, Sunny the Safety Duck has retired and bid goodbye to all the wonderful “ducklings” he nestled under his wings.  But Sunny didn’t duck out without introducing his replacement—Sunny Jr. On the last full day of school in June, Sunny and Sunny Jr. made the rounds with Principal Dr. James Foy who ensured the entire school community said goodbye before Sunny took wing.
