Three More Athletes Sign for Division I

Three Sayville Senior Athletes who were Wrestling teammates have signed to play in Division I for the following sports. Congratulations to:

• Mac Murtha who will be playing Football at Rhode Island
• Yirdaw Rivera who will be Wrestling at West Point
• Jamisen Colongione who will be Wrestling at LIU

• 4X All-League; 3^rd 2018 & 2019, League 6 Champion and Most Outstanding Wrestler 2020, League 6 Champion 2022
• 2X All-County; 3^rd 2019, Suffolk County Champion 2022, voted the Champion of Champions and earned the Most Pins in Least Time award
• All-State; 6^th place 2022

Yirdaw Rivera:

• 4 year varsity starter
• 99 Career wins
• Season Record; 41-9 with 29 pins, Undefeated in Dual Meet Competition
• 3X All-League; 2^nd 2019, 3^rd 2020, 2^nd 2022 earned the Most Pins in Least Time Award
• All-County; 3^rd 2022
