Two Sayville High School Virtual Enterprises International firms are back in business!

 

Both Sayville Business Education Teacher Hannah Michaelson and Technology/Business Chairperson Bryan Coon will be advising the new groups of VEI students this year;  Ms. Michaelson will work with one VEI firm called Disco on Deck and Mr. Coon will be advising the second firm called Adventure Awaits. 

 

“The Virtual Enterprises International students attended the LIU Leadership Conference on November 4th,” Ms. Michaelson shared. “The program focused on characteristics of effective leaders and supports the work of the VEI management teams in leading their firm to produce key deliverables. Our Sayville students learned from the experiences of successful college professors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. During the conference, the students collaborated and networked with VEI alumni and other VEI student leaders in firms from across Long Island. Now that our students have just completed the National Elevator Pitch Competition and the National Branding Competition, the Sayville firms have begun work on the National Business Plan Competition in preparation for their first virtual trade show on November 18th.”

 

With the energizing effects of the LIU Conference still lingering, both Ms. Michaelson and Mr. Coon are enthusiastic that their VEI students’ new companies will do well in the competitions.
