Lincoln Avenue Keeping Those Cards and Letters Coming for our Veterans

Lincoln Avenue students were invited to create Thank You cards or write letters to residents at the LI State Veteran’s Home.  Teacher Nicole Barile, whose father is a veteran and resident there, responded to the invitation along with her co-teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Williams. Together, they organized submissions from several Lincoln Avenue classes. Posing with the class, Mrs. Barile and Mrs. Williams showcased sample cards created by her students.
