Lincoln Avenue Students Make "Smiles for Seniors" in 2023 Request

Students in Jen Order's class at Lincoln Avenue Elementary recently participated in Smiles for Seniors. Students were tasked with creating pictures or cards to brighten the day of seniors living in assisted-living facilities. The pictures will be distributed across Assembly District Seven which includes Bay Shore, Brightwaters, Islip, East Islip, Islip Terrace, Great River, Oakdale, Bohemia, West Sayville, Sayville, Bayport, Blue Point, Patchogue, and East Patchogue. The request for the cards came from New York State Assemblyman Jarrett Gandolfo. Pictured are Mrs. Order's students with water-colored illustrations and special messages for the seniors.
