Middle School Hosts Eighth Grade Awards Night

Congratulations to the soon-to-be ninth grade students who were recognized during the middle school's Eighth Grade Awards Night on June 12. 

The awards night recognized the students who achieved the honor of being an 8th Grade Scholar by having a 90 average or above for 8thth grade as well as 8th Grade Distinguished Scholars who had a 90 average or above for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. 

Departmental awards were also distributed for excellence in English, Social Studies, Math 8, Algebra, Science 8, Living Environment, Spanish, French, Art 8, Studio in Art, Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Family and Consumer Science, Technology, and Physical Education. 

The evening was closed with the distribution of local and state awards, such as the Principal’s Award and PTA Scholarships.
