"Success lies in the strength of the teachers, their students, the parents who support their musical development and the conductors who together celebrate the power of music”

Five Sayville School District strings students were selected to perform in the Intermediate Long Island Strings Festival (LISFA) concerts held at Northport High School.

These Sayville students: Cameron Dyckova (Violin - sixth grade), Emily Swift (Violin - fifth Grade, Sunrise Drive), Christopher Larkin (Bass- fifth grade, Lincoln Ave), Millie Valenti (Violin - fifth grade, Cherry Avenue), and Brayden Rothstein (Cello - eighth grade) were recommended by their teachers and competed with other students across Suffolk County. Their high scores from New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) earned them the opportunity to perform in the January 20 - 22 concerts.

Congratulations to our exceptional students for their hard work and commitment to musical excellence.
