Seven Sayville Public Schools Students Perform at Carnegie Hall

Congratulations to the seven Sayville Public Schools students who performed at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, May 7. 

The students performed with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Chorus, which is composed of students from across Suffolk County. The groups rehearse each week, working with amazing conductors and learning significant orchestral works. 

Students Meredith Albertelli (Bass), Ava Helbock (Oboe), and Kate VanBoxel (Clarinet) are in the Suffolk Concert Orchestra.

Students Emily Helbock (French Horn), Luke Lundquist (Tuba), and Lauren Minasian (Trumpet) are in the Suffolk Principal Orchestra.

Sunrise Drive fifth grader Emily Swift performed in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Choral Concert.
